For patient identification you must register the patient details. Patient details are registered once and subsequently used in the different modules. Depending on the purpose of the registration, a range of patient details can be recorded.

For this purpose, Medicore offers you the choice of two modules: Basic Patient Registration or Extended Patient Registration.

Basic Patient Registration
The "basic registration" allows your care institute to register the name and address details of the patient as well as the insurance details and GP.

Once entered into the system, patients can be traced easily in the database. A selected patient will remain selected until another patient is selected, even when you use other modules. At the top of each patient related page, a summary of the patient details is displayed.

Extended Patient Registration
As well as all the features of "basic registration", "extended registration" allows your care institute to register additional patient details: including a different hospital number, marital status, country of birth and mother tongue. In addition it is possible to indicate certain relationships with other patients.
