As an individual practitioner you use the Medicore Application Service Provider (ASP) model. The central Medicore server, which runs your software, is located in the Medicore hosting centre. This location is protected against fire, unauthorized access and power failure. You do not need your own server and can connect to your practice administration from any PC/Apple Macintosh computer with an internet connection. Server space (including hosting), hardware management, the system and the data are part of the ASP model.
You log in via a secure internet connection or Virtual Private Network (VPN) with the aid of a browser. This can be done through the programme Internet Explorer or Mozilla FireFox which makes Medicore suitable for use on both PC and Apple Macintosh systems. The entire system can be used without the installation of additional software on your workstation.
In short: the system requirements for the use of Medicore are very limited.
