Not only do you attach the highest value to the security of your (patient) data, so does the government. Legislation demands strict data security. One of the greatest risks of unauthorized access to patient information is physical access to (paper) files at the clinic or office.

Medicore software modules provide the highest levels of security for your data. It is stored behind a firewall. It can only be accessed by means of a USB key and a PIN code. Unauthorized access is impossible. Data transfer takes place in encrypted form.

All your data is stored on the central servers. Naturally, we create a daily backup of this data. Our servers are well protected, even against viruses! A virus on your PC will never reach the data on the server. A Service Level Agreement guarantees very high availability of the application.

Protected by a USB key
The patient data in Medicore is stored in a secured environment. Users receive a USB key, or computer key, to access the secured Medicore server. The USB key contains a licence which, in combination with a PIN code, grants access to patient data. The user opens Medicore. The system then asks the user for a certificate. The USB key is connected to the computer, and the user enters the PIN code. Medicore checks the certificate is valid and if the information is correct, the user is logged into the system and can access patient data.

The certificate on the USB key is linked to an individual / employee and can, in case of dismissal or other problems, be revoked immediately.
